Meet Our Staff
Golden Slipper Camp is proud to introduce our Leadership Team, a group of dedicated individuals with over 125 years of combined experience at GSC. Committed to preserving the Camp’s rich traditions, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, and ensuring fun and excitement for all. Many of them are familiar faces, continuing to build on the legacy of Golden Slipper Camp.
Rachel Oestreich
Director of Girls’ Camping and Camper Experience
Rachel has been with GSC for 11 summers. Previously, Rachel was a senior counselor, Village Leader, Head Girls’ Counselor and Assistant Director. Along with her experience, Rachel brings great enthusiasm to her role. She enjoys working with Campers and their families.
Matt Freedman
Director of Boys’ Camping, Camper Recruitment and Jewish Programming
Matt has spent 9 summers as a member of the staff. He has been a counselor, Special Events Coordinator and Assistant Director. Before joining the staff, he was a camper for 8 years. Matt is also the parent of two campers. Matt enjoys welcoming new and returning Campers to GSC.
Adam Kramaroff
Director of CITs and Food Service
Adam is a stranger to no one at GSC. He has spent the past 32 years at Camp doing everything possible to ensure that our Campers have a wonderful summer experience. Adam’s experience and versatility benefit everyone at Camp.
Stefany Marshall
Director of Camper Programming
Stefany has dedicated many years to our Camp. She has been a counselor for 6 years and an administrator for 4 years. Before all of that, Stefy was a camper for 6 years. Stefany also is a camper parent. Stefy looks forward to watching and participating with our Campers as they enjoy all of the programming she is developing with them.
Sam Zeruth
Director of Operations and Facilities
Sam has been the Camp Caretaker for 20 years. Not only is he familiar with our staff and campers, Sam has an incredible knowledge and familiarity with all of our buildings, and every inch of our 600 acres of land.
Kristin Grapes
Director of Camper Enrollment
Kristin is in her 19th year overseeing Camper enrollment and formerly worked in the Camp summer office. As a camper parent herself, Kristin enjoys the opportunity to provide excellent support to our Camper families.
Jenn Scarlata
Director of Camp Administration
As Camp Administrator for 27 years, and as a camper parent of two former long-time campers, Jenn knows more about our Camp than almost anyone. She is a great partner to our families, staffers, campers, and volunteers.
